Steply privacy policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Steply is a visual routine app for parents and carers. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. Short version: everything you make in Steply stays on your phone. We do not collect it, we cannot see it, and there are no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

NISICO TECHNOLOGIES SRL, Romania (registered office Strada Stupca 22-32, Sector 6, 061042 Bucharest, Romania, company number J40/4720/16.03.2021, VAT RO43922705). Contact: support@nisico.eu.

Steply is for adults

Steply is a tool for parents and carers. It is not directed to children. A child uses Steply only on a phone or tablet set up by an adult, never creates an account, and never gives us any information.

What stays on your device

Routines, steps, pictures you add or take, your child's first name, reminders and settings are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. If your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) is on, your phone may include Steply's data in that backup under Apple's or Google's terms.

What we collect

Nothing. This version of Steply has no account, no purchases, no analytics, no crash reporting service and no advertising. It does not use the internet to send your data anywhere.

If you choose to write to us (by email, or by sharing a problem report from Settings > Support, which you can read before you send it), we use what you send only to answer you, and we delete it when the conversation is over unless the law requires us to keep it. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering you.

Permissions

Photos and camera: only when you choose a picture for a step. Notifications: only for the reminders you set. You can turn either off in your phone's settings.

What we never do

No ads, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing of data, no profiling.

Keeping and deleting

Your data stays on your device until you delete it: in the app (Parent area > Settings) or by deleting the app. See Delete your data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, UK GDPR and US state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA) you may ask us for access, correction or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and you may object or complain to a data protection authority. In Romania this is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro). Because we do not collect data from the app, in most cases we will hold nothing about you except emails you sent us.

Changes

If a future version adds accounts, backup or purchases, we will update this policy before that version is released and say so in the app.
